Can't say mood has been good for these past 2 weeks. Could be a small thing but i am used to take things so serious that it affects me in a big way.
Friends say i am too serious, i never try to deny it.
Friends say i am too emotional, i never bother to hide it. Just that i feel it is a pain to laugh when you feel like crying and equally as painful to cry when you feel like laughing.
And HK drama has been my daily dosage of relief. Sobbing over the tear jerking scenes is one of the ways i can allow my emotions flow freely. Of course, running around like a mad dog under the hot sun hitting tennis balls is another way.
yes, i always i say 我就是生的眼泪浅

Mizuno wave run 13 Sep 2009
Mizuno wave run today. Timing was a total crap. 1h 57min. way off of the timing expected of me. Totally unhappy about it, guess i still need some consistency in my running after all.
To cam whore a slight bit...biting the fruits of my labour (hard work to be exact)...a finisher medal! Yippe!
Covering my tag number so u guys cannot buy 4D......

Not exactly a good job, but mizuno wave run done!

The day i had Jolin under my feet + random nonsense
random pictures......
The day i had Jolin under my feet...literally. :)

sorry jolin fans, not my intention to demean Jolin but i just find it is so funny. The advertisement was actually the Visit Taiwan, Join being the taiwan vistor ambassdor. It is just pure weird that the ad had to be plastered all over the train, even the floor. I dun think Jolin enjoyed being stamped all over by the rushing morning.
And yes, i dun feel comfortable having Jolin underneath me, seemingly peeping under my pants. :)

Does it look familiar? If it does, then you belong to my gang. Hands courtesy of huiling, audrey, grace and yours truly.

My 1/2 Marathon
Did it. Woke up at an unearthly hour of 345am in total darkness this morning, a timing which i normally just returned from the clubbing, with stench of alcohol lingering. Not this week.
Buzzed down to The Padang by a taxi which costed me $27 dollars. To be honest, i was quite excited and looking forward to do this run. After all, i haven't push myself to the limit this year to do more than 15km and i know the scenary of IR and the Marina Bay will be just breath-taking.
Didn't bring camera or handphone while i ran so no pictures taken.
About the run, the first 15km was no issue, i think my practice runs are always around 10km, so i was still feeling fresh at the 15km mark. Time check: 1h 41mins. Better than my Passion run timing. After 17th km, legs felt a bit soft and body feeling a bit fatigue, needed Salongpas to ease my joint pains already.
19th km onwards was a physical and mental torture. Actually can't feel my legs at all, began to walk and only resumed running after a lot of vulgarities in my head. And finally hit the finishing line at 2h 23mins. 7 mins below my initial target though i thought i could hit 2h 15mins when i hit my 15th km.
Friends asked why i so siao on, or enthu these days, indeed i am fitter than my army days. To the extent that i could spend $27 to take a cab for a run to torture myself. And to sleep at 10pm and waking up at 345am.
Beside the usual thing of challenging myself, another thing is to keep to my promise. Once i signed up for the 21km run, i have promised myself to do it, so i have to do it. Even if i have to take an aeroplane (just an analogy) :)
Enough said. Pictures time.

Shopping trip

My yield of my '1 hr' shopping trip. Finally bought this nike tennis shorts which i have eyeing for the longest time ever. Was selling for $55 but got at 40% off. Yippe! This shorts looks so nice, can! Doesn't hurt that it feels totally comfy as well. :)
On the right is the shock absorber for my racket. More equiping for a tennis kid!

I have no idea what kind of impression do i give to my friends and people on the street. Am i a joker, lame, kind hearted or friendly? I dun normally ponder about this question, perhaps how am i being perceived by people doesn't quite bother me.
I think i belong to the category of possessing a 'smelly' temper. Not the worst around, but not your nice nice boy around. I get angry at people, and more often at myself. Especially when people block my way when i am walking. Or when people treat me as if i am dead.
Most amusing thing is i get angry at myself too! That's why i always look forward to play tennis every week. I get to vent my anger through my little antics of swearing at myself, being pissed at the ball, the racket, hitting the racket etc. I dun think i am crazy in that sense, i just regard it as a way to encourage myself. I enjoy the process to be honest, since i dun get the chance to flare up at people.
I want to step my tennis regime since i am staying from booze and party for now. So friends, call me out for some tennis!
